Congratulations on completing your initial training with BTS. You now have the opportunity to display all of your skills in a class situation.  As you prepare to submit your assessment, please complete the following:

Submit a DVD, Mini DV tape or VHS tape of yourself teaching all tracks in a live class setting.  You must:

  • Use the release on which you were initially trained
  • Have at least 5 people in your class

Set up the camera to face you directly, except for Group Ride so your movements are clearly seen from the front.  Ask your participants to give you space in the middle of the floor for a clear view. Set up the camera at a 45 degree angle, rather than straight on, so your movements are clearly seen from the side. Confirm that your voice and music are each clearly audible. The camera must run from the beginning to the end of the class without stopping.

Only DVD, standard definition Mini DV tapes or standard 7 ½ x 4 VHS tapes are accepted. If you submit your assessment in an incorrect format or the format is not assessable due to missing tracks or audio difficulties, you will be requested to submit a second assessment.  Make a back-up copy for yourself.
